Neuroscience These contributions should be seen as attempts to link the construct of activity modalities to neuroscientific research, thus contributing to understanding 'the most important issue in brain research today' - "the internalization or embedding of the universals of the external world into an internal functional space" (Llinás, 2001). Obviously, this is outside my area of expertise. This line of research necessarily involves cooperation with researchers from neuroscience, which are interested in bridging the neurobiological and social realms of inquiry.
